Well here we are, in Mid(ish)-July 2021 already. In many ways, this summer has felt like it is going at warp speed, at least for this family! It’s also been fun to see your creations out in the world as you start traveling!
The Wall-E Hat made it’s way to Disneyland:
The Frida Shoes made their way out and about locally on their Client:
We have been busy doing some sightseeing too! As a mom I am trying to keep my kiddos entertained (4 more weeks of summer break but who’s counting?!) but as an artist I am learning. Oh boy am I learning. It’s hard to believe that the website is a month old already! I’m learning how to tweak the booking process and what works best for both you as a Client and myself as an artist/business owner when it comes to ordering. It’s been a wild ride so far but man has it been fun!
One of the biggest learnings so far has been that you all want MORE. You want to know more about my process and what products I use, you want to see more of the in-progress painting (you really seem to enjoy watching the painting process), I’ve even heard from a few of you that you would love to see the journey of a creation from the concept to the finished product. The answer to all of these things is YES! I’m going to do a better job of bringing you on these painting adventures with me and the Client, as well as let you in on the products and processes I love as an artist.
Thank you for your patience as I gain my footing and learn how to best get this info out to all of you, and huge thanks to those who ordered last month, these projects have been so very fun, I look forward to the new creations that you will dream up when books open again. What a dream it is to be able to help your visions come to life.
Keeping this one short and sweet, I have a lot of work to do to get some fun content out to you all! In the meantime, let me know what you would like to see on the website in the future by commenting below.
Off to paint! Here’s a sneak peek of the next project…it’s going to be a fun one (but aren’t they all?!).
Xoxo
Abby
I pinch myself that I not only hold you near as a friend, but an amazing part of my family! Lucky, grateful me. Another magical blog post!
